We Started With A Different Way To Build
Vantora began in 2022 as UP.Labs, founded by John Kuolt after years of building corporate ventures at BCG X.
He saw the innovator’s dilemma up close. Large enterprises had the data, expertise, customers, infrastructure, and market access to create enormous value, yet their hardest problems often cut across the structures and systems meant to solve them.
So we started somewhere different: with the problem. Porsche became our first corporate partner. Seasoned founders, product leaders, and engineers worked alongside enterprise operators, close to the business and its data, to identify consequential problems and build companies around them.
That Model Became Vantora
Today, we build AI-native companies, capabilities and strategic assets around the problems holding enterprises back.
The enterprise is our customer, our partner, and has a path to own what gets built. We built Vantora to be the best in the world at this work.
